Bolton remain in the Barclays Premier League relegation zone following a 2-1 defeat by West Brom at The Hawthorns. It was the Trotters' ninth loss in their last 11 top-flight games. But they return to the Reebok Stadium bidding to follow up their 5-0 win over Stoke - their first success at home in the Barclays Premier League this season. Bolton are looking for a third successive home league victory over Everton having failed to win their previous four meetings in Lancashire.
Everton came from behind to register a much-needed 2-1 victory over Wolves at Goodison Park. The Toffees had lost five of their previous six Barclays Premier League matches but claimed a first threepoint haul at home since mid-September. The Merseyside club have a decent record at Bolton in the Barclays Premier League having won four, drawn four and lost four in 12 visits.
