Mauricio Pochettino has no new injury concerns with Luke Shaw the only worry - he has suffered from illness this week but the Saints boss remains optimistic that he will be available to him. We could see an unchanged lineup, then, which would see Steven Davis retain his place on the left, with Adam Lallana fielded on the opposite flank with Dani Osvaldo tucked in behind Rickie Lambert once again.

Michael Laudrup will assess the head injury sustained by Michu in the Europa League win over St Gallen on Thursday before making a decision on his availability. Ashley Williams and Angel Rangel remain doubtful for the Swans, whilst Pablo Hernandez is expected to miss out again with a thigh problem. Dwight Tiendalli and Jordi Amat could continue if Williams and Rangel fail to recover from ankle complaints, whilst the likes of Jonjo Shelvey and Nathan Dyer should return to the XI after emerging from the bench in Thursday's Europa League match.

Il Southampton è abbastanza lontano dal concetto di "bel calcio".
Squadra concreta, che sfrutta le sue occasioni e vince.
Oggi hanno vinto 2-0, diciamo che è un risultato abbastanza bugiardo: lo Swansea non meritava la sconfitta.
