An upturn in form has eased the scrutiny on Chris Hughton at Norwich, with the Canaries apparently heading in the right direction after a run of three games unbeaten in all competitions. Stoke City are the visitors to Carrow Road on Saturday, and Tony Pulis will be looking for just a second victory of the season after a tough start when the Potters have had to face most of the top sides. This week marked 10 years since Pulis first took charge at the Britannia Stadium, although he was sacked in 2005 before returning a year later following Peter Coates' takeover.

Norwich have lost just one of their last five Premier League matches at Carrow Road (W2, D2, L1), keeping three clean sheets in that run.
Stoke have been involved in three of the six goalless draws in the Premier League this season, more than any other side.

Norwich City defender Russell Martin will have a late fitness test for their clash with Stoke City at Carrow Road this weekend. Martin is making a good recovery from a back problem and is expected to be fit enough to make the starting line-up. Chris Hughton is again set to hand the impressive Wes Hoolahan the support role behind Grant Holt, with Elliot Bennett and Anthony Pilkington again set to start on the flanks. Robert Snodgrass and Jonny Howson are again set for bench roles.

Glenn Whelan is fit and available and is expected to immediately return to the first XI for the trip to Norwich. Tony Pulis has also admitted he is likely to field Andy Wilkinson at left-back, now that Marc Wilson is sidelined for three months with a broken leg sustained against Sunderland last weekend.
