Swansea have hit the buffers in their maiden Premier League campaign having lost the last four games, failing to score in three of them and that has seen them slip down to their lowest position since the beginning of March. Thanks to a great start to the season Swansea are still lying 10 points clear of the drop zone and a win would all but ensure their Premier League survival. But another defeat could undo all their good work earlier on that had them flying high and would breathe new life into Blackburn's bid to avoid the drop.
Yakubu took his Premier League goal tally to 16 for the season with a brace against Liverpool last time out, but it was not enough as Rovers slipped to a 3-2 defeat - their fourth straight loss. That defeat kept Blackburn in the bottom three as they prepare for their tough run-in that includes trips to Tottenham and Chelsea either side of a potential relegation decider with a resurgent Wigan.
• Swansea have lost four games in a row in a single season for the first time since they were in the fourth tier (2003/04).
• Eight of Blackburn's last 10 league goals on the road have come from set pieces.
There are no new injury concerns ahead of the clash with Blackburn but Brendan Rodgers will be tempted to change his lineup having seen his side slump to a bitterly disappointing defeat at Loftus Road. Nathan Dyer could make his return to the starting XI having come off the bench in that one.
Rovers will need to check on the availability of both Bradley Orr and Martin Olsson for the trip to Swansea. Orr is suffering form tight achilles, while Olsson has a groin problem. Kean must decide whether to recall Morten Gamst-Pedersen to his lineup here, or persevere with Mauro Formica on the right flank. David Dunn could also make way having played in midweek with Jason Lowe able to step into central midfield should that be the case.
Possible starting XIs:

P Robinson • B Orr, G Hanley, S Dann, G Givet • J Lowe, MG Pedersen, S N'Zonzi, Marcus Olsson • D Hoilett • Yakubu
