Queens Park Rangers are the next side to enter fortress Liberty Stadium, with Swansea looking to maintain their impressive record on home soil. The Swans have been able to transfer their fine form from last season onto the Premier League stage, with few visitors relishing a trip to South Wales. Manchester United are the only side to have left Swansea with all three points this season, and even they could only manage a narrow 1-0 win. That defeat represents the Swans' only setback in their last 16 outings in front of their own supporters in league competition. They also have the best defensive record in the top flight on home soil, having conceded just two goals.
Queens Park Rangers could do with a morale-boosting success on Tuesday, as they have started to wobble a bit of late. Three defeats on the bounce, and four in five outings, have seen them tumble to within four points of the relegation zone. Neil Warnock will be determined to see that slump halted against Premier League newcomers.
