Blackpool's rollercoaster ride in the Premier League looks set to go right to the end of the pier as the Tangerines sit just one goal above the relegation zone. With trips to Tottenham and Manchester United as two of their three remaining games after Saturday, it is surely imperative for Ian Holloway's side to get something out of this match. Easier said than done as Blackpool have the worst home record in the Premier League - and their last home league win over Stoke was back in 1964 in the era of Jimmy Armfield, whose statue will be unveiled at Bloomfield Road this weekend, 40 years after he made his last appearance for the club. Armfield played alongside Sir Stanley Matthews, whose other major club Stoke are the visitors on Saturday. Sir Stanley will forever be associated with the 1953 FA Cup final and Blackpool will be hoping Stoke's thoughts wander towards their own trip to Wembley next month.
