Newly promoted Bournemouth have signed central defender Sylvain Distin on a free transfer.


Come dicevo poco prima che venissero promossi, in Premier, dovrebbero rinforzare principalmente la difesa: lì potrebbero avere qualche problema (sia per la meccanica di gioco che per qualche difensore non proprio affidabile).
Distin è sicuramente un giocatore d'esperienza ma non so quanto possa essere utile (non è mica quello di qualche anno fa, è ormai in parabola discendente).
Certo, sempre meglio 1 in più che in meno.

Per il resto hanno preso anche un terzino sinistro (Mings dell'Ipswich).
Sempre ai Tractor hanno venduto Pitman: che io non avrei ceduto.
Non perchè sia stato tra gli uomini chiave delle varie promozioni (importante comunque lo è stato anche) ma perchè è uno che potevi benissimo continuare a tenere come rincalzo.
Importante invece l'aver preso Boruc a titolo definitivo.

Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson has signed a new four-year contract with the club.

"Playing in the Premier League is all I've ever dreamed of. You want to play against the players you idolise".

The England Under-21 international had been linked with a move away from Dean Court, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Aston Villa all reported to be interested.
But Wilson said: "I signed from Coventry thinking we would get to the Premier League in the next few years and we did it in the first season.
"There's no reason, at this moment in time, why anyone would want to leave because we are in the Premier League and have a great manager, who is young and wants to be successful."
