Wigan's defensive woes worsened at the weekend when Ivan Ramis was withdrawn due to a hamstring injury against Reading, with Gary Caldwell still a major doubt and Antolin Alcaraz sidelined. Adrian Lopez is likely to get a rare start with Emmerson Boyce again filling in in the back three and Ronnie Stam likely to keep his place on the right wing. James McArthur could replace David Jones in midfield, while Franco Di Santo should come back into a front three including hat-trick hero Jordi Gomez.
