Wigan Athletic will be desperate to bolster their survival hopes with success against Everton at the DW Stadium on Saturday. The Latics have not risen above the bottom four in 2011 and currently occupy 18th position; Martinez is glad to be playing at the DW Stadium after three straight away matches, but there has been little in the way of home comfort for his side this season. Wigan's home record is the second worst in the division, and only as good as Everton's away form. The Latics also have a poor record in this fixture, having claimed just one win in their last 10 meetings and they have also failed to score in three of the last four contests. Everton claimed all three points from their trip to Wigan last season thanks to Tim Cahill's 84th-minute winner while Henri Camara scored the only goal of the game in the corresponding fixture in the 08/09 campaign. While they target survival, Everton's goal is to try to finish above city rivals Liverpool and finish sixth; it's a tough ask, with Manchester City and Chelsea still to come.
