City of Manchester Stadium
Manchester City dropped Barclays Premier League points for only the second time this season as they drew with Liverpool last time out. In truth, they will have been happy to come away from Anfield with a share of the spoils after riding their luck on occasions. Roberto Mancini’s men remain comfortable at the summit, though, and will be hoping to add to the five-point advantage they currently hold over bitter rivals Manchester United.
Norwich beat fellow promoted club QPR 2-1 at Carrow Road to record their first Barclays Premier League win in five matches. Paul Lambert's team have just one triumph on their travels this season, winning 2-1 at Bolton in September. They face the daunting task of improving that record against the team boasting the best home record in the division, though. Norwich would certainly take the result they achieved on their last top-flight visit to City in November 2004, when Damien Francis' goal secured a 1-1 draw.
