"...he must work for the team; not two dribbles, two crosses. In a top team you need more. If you're doing only two dribbles, you can't be the best player on the pitch. You must score a goal, you must defend, you must help your team-mates. There is more expected of him."

"It's important all the players must have good behaviour during the week because we must prepare for every game very well," Mancini said. "He [Johnson] must keep his feet on the floor and he must stay there. It's better for him [not always starting him] if he wants to improve."

Praticamente ha fatto intendere che si è montato la testa, che probabilmente in allenamento in settimana fa il "fenomeno" e che quando gioca al sabato è troppo individualista ed è deleterio per la squadra.

Credo che mancini si scorda le partite che ci ha fatto vincere AJ,non solo grazie a lui èè,ma il suo contributo l'ha sempre dato,non capisco perchè abbia detto queste cose..

Eh sì, decisamente incoerente, mi pare che il Mancio se ne sia sempre strafregato di chi fosse prima o donna o meno. Piccola parentesi informativa: io personalmente non credo più manco a una parola di quello che dice. Come è riuscito l'anno scorso a mortificare un talento puro con Ireland, ora sta riuscendo in questa impresa (se vogliamo, ancora più 'difficile', dato che ad esempio quando fu convocato per la prima volta in nazionale lo stesso AJ confessò di essere sorpreso e di voler restare umile, avendo militato da un club di Championship fino a poco tempo prima).
