Everton may be looking forward to a welcome FA Cup run but are without a win in four Barclays Premier League outings after Blackburn held them to a 1-1 draw at home last time out. Their home form will be proving something of a frustration to Moyes given they have won just three (against Wigan, Wolves and Swansea) and lost five. Manchester City return from cup disappointments to the league where they have won three on the bounce following their dramatic 3-2 triumph against Tottenham. The Citizens have kept five clean sheets in their last seven matches but have not been so clinical on the road, losing two of their previous four away from the Etihad Stadium.
• Everton have lost just one of the last 13 Premier League home games against Man City.
• Man City have won just one of their last five away games in the Premier League and that came against bottom club Wigan.
Everton are still without a number of key players for Tuesday's visit of Barclays Premier League leaders Manchester City. Shane Duffy could continue in central defence in the absence of Sylvain Distin (hamstring) and Phil Jagielka (knee). Midfielders Seamus Coleman (thigh), Leon Osman (knee) and Jack Rodwell (hamstring) are also still missing.
Manchester City welcome back Vincent Kompany after the Belgian defender served his four-game ban, but striker Mario Balotelli still has three games remaining of his own four-match ban. Yaya and Kolo Toure are both also unavailable due to their participation in the African Cup of Nations. City have no other injury concerns and will be fresh having had no FA Cup action at the weekend
