He may not have won the sack race but pressure continues to grow on Blackburn manager Steve Kean, who has won just six of his 34 Barclays Premier League matches since taking charge almost a year ago, as his side prepare to host Swansea at Ewood Park. Rock-bottom Rovers are without a win in the Premier League since 17th September and suffered further woe in midweek when they were denied a spot in the Carling Cup semi-finals by Championship side Cardiff.
Swansea travel to Ewood Park for the first time since 1984, a game the Lancashire side won 4-1. The Welsh side have yet to win away from home this season but have drawn their last two matches on the road, including a goalless stalemate at Liverpool on their last journey. The 0-0 at home to Aston Villa was the third straight game that Brendan Rodgers`team had drawn a blank.
